Monthly bookkeeping
We keep your records up to date each month, so the numbers behind your reports are ready when you need them.
Management accounts
A monthly report that shows profit, cash and how the firm is doing against where you expected it to be, without the jargon.
Plain-English commentary
Numbers on their own rarely help. We explain what has changed and why it matters, so partners can decide what to do next.
For law firms
A monthly pack for a law firm can include:
- Work in progress and unpaid bills (debtors), including how long it takes to turn work into cash
- Results by partner and for the firm as a whole
- Cash flow and partner drawings
- Profit planning
Where it’s useful, we can add:
- Comparisons with budget and last year
- A rolling 12-month trend
- A 13-week cash forecast
- Profitability by fee earner and area of work
- Write-offs
- Client account health
- New work and enquiries
We’ll agree what’s included in a short conversation first, so you only get what you will use.
How it works
- We talk. A short, no-obligation conversation about your firm and what you want to see.
- We agree the pack. You choose what goes in your monthly report.
- You get your numbers. A report each month, with a short written explanation.

See what a monthly report looks like. Our sample pack uses entirely fictional figures for an imaginary firm, “Sample Legal LLP”. Email us and we’ll send it over. There’s no obligation, and we won’t add you to any mailing list.
